The competition is open for men and women from all over Italy (and not only) and of any age.
The only qualification is the weight!

For women it's over 220lb while for men it's over 330lb.

The organisation offers one day of free food and accommodation to the Italian participants and two days to foreigners.
The titles of "Miss Cicciona" and "Mister Ciccione" can be only assigned to participants registered in the Italian Section.

For all other titles there are no restrictions in terms of nationality and registration.
