Many years ago mister Gianfranco Lazzereschi was already working in the fashion world and he got to know many "Certain Weight People" of whom he appreciated the fairness and spontaneity.
So, fourteen years ago, he thought "Why don't we bring them on a stage for a contest?".
The difficulties between the idea and the carrying out of it were several.
He had to make people understand that this competition was not to ridicule fat people on the contrary...
Mister Gianfranco had to go "door to door" to look for the first competitors and finally he found them.
This is how the first contest was born.

At today we are at the 17th edition and it's now an international event.
